The Life of DAVID EARL KESSLER Sr.
David Kessler, Sr., passed away January 3, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.
David was born October 29, 1936, in Harrisonville, MO, to Mary and George Kessler.
David had a great sense of humor, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. David loved spending time with his family, especially their trips to the park. David was truck driver for Lint Van Lines and retired from there after over 20 years of service.
David is survived by children; Pam Thoren, David Kessler, Jr., Mary (Ric) Gay, Jeanie Stapes, and Kevin (Tina) Kessler; 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 7, 2011, at the Elkhart Christian Church, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4-7 PM at the Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Elkhart Christian Church in loving memory of David.
