The Life of PATRICIA ELLEN ERICKSON
Patricia Ellen Erickson, 81, died peacefully, Friday, April 18, 2008 at Taylor House in Des Moines. Patricia was born on April 16, 1927 in Des Moines to Tom and Anna Marie King.
Patricia previously worked at Mercy Hospital Cafeteria and retired from Iowa Power in customer service.
She is survived by daughter, Marilyn Jo Brownell (Dennis) of Des Moines; son, Gary Erickson (Pam) of GA; son, David Erickson of CO; step-daughter, Adrianne Morrison (Flint) of AZ; eleven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband, Gerald Erickson; daughter, Nancy Knight and granddaughter, Joy Knight.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Visitaiton Catholic Church, 1275 E 9th St., Des Moines; burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary service at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
Memorial contributions can be made to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
