The Life of DIANE CLAIRE WHEELER
Diane Wheeler, 66, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Diane was born on February 2, 1942 to Lester and Effie Statler in Des Moines, Iowa.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Wheeler, her daughters, Brends Fees and Pennie Ritter, four grandchildren, Tiffany, Shyana, Chantelle and Michael, her sisters, Bertha Smith, Lerrine Virden and Carol Fletcher, brother, Lester D. Statler and her mother, Effie Statler. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Statler, and two sons, Brian Richard and Brent Page Wheeler.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may visit with family one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Diane.
