The Life of JODEAN LYNN SIEFKAS

Jodean "Jodi" lynn Siefkas, 47, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born on January 16, 1962 in Des Moines to Richard and Marjorie Siefkas. She enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers and her kitty, Darlington. Jodi worked at Woodard hearing. Jodi is survived by her mother, Marjorie Hetherington of Urbandale; sister, Jill Schultz of Kansas City, Mo; brother Rick Siefkas of West Des Moines; step-mother, Patricia Siefkas of Des Moines; nephew, Ryan Schultz of Kansas City, Mo; and her companion Dice Sullenberger of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; grandma, Margaret Patterson; and maternal grandmother, Mary Burns. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League or John Stoddard Cancer Center in loving memory of Jodi.
