The Life of ROBBY LEE ANDRUS
Robby Lee Andrus, 40, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was born September 29, 1970, in Des Moines.
Robby was one of the first to graduate from North Alternative High School and worked as a roofer for Brockway Mechanical and Roofing. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his children.
Robby is survived by his signifant other, Fay Sullivan; children, Angela Dobney, Cassie Hudnutt, Taylore and Kayla Andrus, Derika and Brogan Andrus; grandson, Liam Hawkins; father, Jim Andrus; mother, Sheila (Mark) Nagel; sisters, Dawn and Jami Andrus; grandmother, Ada Kulla; adopted grandparents, Herman and Joy Nagel; Joan Sullivan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
