The Life of IRENE V HARDERSEN
Irene "Peggy" V. Hardersen, 89, born in Freeman, SD, passed away April 11, 2007, of chronic pulmonary fibrosis. Funeral services will be held at noon, April 16, 2007, at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Ave. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be at 11 a.m. prior to the funeral.
Peggy moved to Des Moines where she met and married Al Hardersen on August 30, 1942.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Ron (Tammy) of Waukee, Iowa, Gerry (Sherry) of Morrisville, NC; six grandchildren, Darren (Kelly) Harersen and Darcie (Kenan) Harkin all of Juniper, FL, John (Carol) Turpen of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Angie (Brandon) Keith of Apex, NC, Katie (Daniel) King of Raleigh, NC, and Christie (Paul) Geimza of Knightdale, NC; five step-grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Heath and Julie (Troy) Hummel of Cherokee, IA, and Rick (Jodi) Heath of Windermere, FL, Mike Sumner (Kara) and Dave Sumner of Minneapolis, MN; five great-grandchildren, Trey Hardersen, Bailey and Brady Turpen and Riley and Avery Keith; seven step-great-grandchildren, Jakob, Megan and Kaely Hummel, Jackson, Hunter and Holly Heath, and Aidan Sumner; a sister, Mona (Russ) Bogh of Denver CO; a brother, Art Waldner, of Port Sulphur, LA, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
