The Life of RICHARD DELMAR BRACKETT
Richard D. Brackett, 79, was born May 9, 1931, in Des Moines, the son of Robert and Ruth (Goehring) Brackett. He passed away peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2011, at his home in Beaverdale Estates.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Robin (Allen) Hale of Des Moines; his son, Rich (Angie) Brackett of Altoona and his grandchildren, Simonne, Aundrea, Larissa, Victoria, Saxon, Moriah, Ashlynn and Caden. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brackett, Jr., and his parents.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
