The Life of MARJORIE MARIE KALTENHEUSER

Marjorie Marie Kaltenheuser, 89, passed away Sunday October 25, 2009 at Valley View Village. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 East 42nd Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Marjorie was born September 5, 1920 in Galva, Iowa to Mary and Frank Lichtenberg. She worked at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as a Chief Telephone Operator. Marjorie was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. Being with her sons, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren was the high point of her life. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and volunteering at many nursing homes. She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Peg) Jensen of Oklahoma City, Ok and Richard (ErmaDell) Jensen of Des Moines, IA.; her sister, Delores Laughrey of Forest City, IA.; seven grandchildren Mike (Julie) Jensen , Jeanne (Nathan) Houck, Paul (Karla) Jensen, Bill (Rhonda) Jensen, Rob (Kay( Jensen, Valerie (Robert) Carter, and Patrick Jensen; twenty two great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to either Hope Lutheran Church or Valley View Village.
