The Life of CYNTHIA JANE DESKIN WILLIS

Cindy Jane Deskin Willis, 51, surrounded by her family, went to be with her Heavely Father on Friday, October 31, 2008.  

A celebration of her life will be Saturday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church.  

Cindy was born June 20, 1957 in Davenport to Ed & Norma Deskin.  She graduated from Johnston High School and married Leonard Willis on June 25, 1989.  

She will be remembered for her bubbly and care-free spirit and as someone who truly loved all creatures.  Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family and her church family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

She is survived by her husband of 18 1/2 years, Leonard; sons, Eric Lathrop of OK and Bryan Lathrop of AR; three grandchildren: Kobe, Joseph and Ayden Lathrup; siblings:  Ed Deskin of OH, Bill Deskin of Des Moines, Larry Deskin of Johnston and Barb Deskin of AZ.  She is also survived by five nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles, extended family and numerous friends.
