The Life of PEARL NADINE HALEY HILLERTS
Pearl N. (Haley) Hillerts, 67, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She was born October 23, 1942, to Virgil and Minnie Haley in Newberry, MI.
Pearl worked many years as an LPN at Sunnyview Care Center along with several other nursing homes. She also worked many years at Child Time Day Care Center. Pearl was a long time and active member of Evangelical Covenant Church.
Pearl is survived by her husband of 47 years, Norman; daughters, Ruby (John) Olsen, Norma (David) Anderson, and Patrice Hillerts; grandsons, JohnPatrick and Ian Olsen; brother, Richard (Joanne) Haley; sisters, Patricia Smith and Louise Johnston; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Matthew Haley; and sister, Jeannette Powell.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Evangelical Covenant Church, 2625 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Evangelical Covenant Church in loving memory of Pearl.
