The Life of GEORGE HUBER Sr.
George Huber, Sr., 87, passed away January 1, 2010, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. He was born on February 24, 1922 in Yugoslavia to Martina and Anton Huber.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, gardening, working on cars and had a great love for animals. George was a retired owner of Huber's Auto Sales.
He is survived by his son, George (Juli) Huber; daughter, Erika Kaiser; grandson, Max Kaiser and mother of their children, Margaret Huber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Senior.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from time 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League in loving memory of George.
