Jeanne was born in Des Moines, February 19, 1924, and her adoptive parents were Bill and Stella Brandt. Jeanne graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942. In 1943, she married Lloyd William Clark, of Des Moines. They lived in Des Moines until 1987, and then moved to Woodward, IA. Jeanne worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for several years and after the birth of her son, was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Park Independent Christian Church in Des Moines for over fifty years and taught Sunday school there. Jeanne loved being with her family, dancing, boating and camping, picking flowers or baking cookies with her grandchildren, playing cards and board games. She learned how to ride a bicycle (along with her granddaughter) in her 60's. Her biggest pet peeve was her medical expenses. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd W. Clark; son, Robert W. Clark (Amy) of Woodward, IA; her three grandchildren, Robert W. Clark, Jr. of Nevada, Jason T. Clark of Bondurant, and Bethany Jeanne Clark Bolluyt (Jon) of Centreville, VA; six great grandchildren, Ethan Tyler, Dakota Clark, Justice Edberg, Haylee M. Clark, Michelle C. Clark and Jacob R. Clark. Jeanne was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Bill and Stella Brandt; her adoptive brother, Jack Ruhlow; and an infant son, Roger Clark. Those who knew Jeanne are asked to remember her with kindness and to share the good times they had with each other. Jeanne wanted nothing more than to make people happy. The family requests that memorials in Jeanne's name be given to Union Park Independent Christian Church. The Lord held out His hand to her and to home she has gone. For those of us she left behind, we will continue to go on. It will be lonely without her cheer but we will remember a very special wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We will always hold the memories of her in our hearts
