The Life of JACK EDWARD WILDRICK

The Lord Hath Given. Jack Edward Wildrick, third son of Danish immigrant parents Christian and Anna Wildrick, was born May 20, 1922 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines, IA. He was baptized and confirmed in Bethesda Danish Ev. Lutheran Church. Graduating in 1940 from East High School Jack enlisted in the US Air Force. Jack was united in marriage to Marjorie Jean Petersen in 1948 and they raised two daughters Linda Sue (Floyd) Cutshall and Sally Ann Wildrick. Before experiencing an extended stroke Jack was active at church and served on Highland Park Lutheran and Ev. Covenant Church boards. Jack exemplified diligence, integrity, and honesty at Capitol Texaco, Kingstone Apartments, and Stanbrough Realty. Jack was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Visitation will be Sun. Aug. 8th 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Westkirk Presbyterian Church. Burial Mon. Aug. 9th 10:00 AM at Highland Memory Gardens. An 11:30 AM Celebration of Life Service will follow at Westkirk. He will be deeply missed on earth by his wife, daughters, grandchildren Jared Jack (Andrea) Cutshall and Sarah Sue Cutshall, brother in law Paul E. Petersen, sisters in law Juanita (Henry) Diaz, Arlean (Donn) McDonald, Shirley (Vince) Caudle. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Carl (Rhoda), Robert (Ruth), Paul (JoAnn), nephew Jack A, and sister in law Tamea Petersen. Memorials may be given to Back to the Bible, Lincoln, NE or Westkirk Presbyterian Church, 2700 Colby Woods Dr., Urbandale, IA 50322. The Lord Hath Taken Away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
