The Life of MAXINE VIRGINIA REILLEY

Maxine V. Reilley, 89, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens. Maxine was born November 19, 1919 to Virginia and Arch Jennings in Boone, Iowa. She worked for many years at Hinky Dinky grocery chain in customer service and produce. After retirement at age 60, she worked part time at the Royal Fork Restaurant. Maxine loved people, was very spunky, and loved volunteering baking and serving at Stonecrest, where she lived. She was always on the go, whether it be shopping, going to garage sales, mall-walking, playing BINGO or cards; you had to call her at a certain time, or she would not be home! Maxine is survived by her boys: Richard Chambers of Des Moines, and Matt Reilley of Sebring, FL; her grandchildren: Carrie Bennett, Patricia Loosemore, Patrick Reilley, Pamela Haack, Julie Rasanen, and Matt R. Reilley II (Buddy); her great-grandchildren: Aaron, Courtney, Miles, Nathan, Justin, Alexis, Jaden, Jaxon, Josh, Rebecca, Annaleese, and Presley; her great-great-grandchildren: Austin, Ryan, and Tate; and her companion Barney Dudley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Kenneth; and her companion of 17 years, John Coburn. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Maxine.
