The Life of SCOTT JAMES FISHER
Scott Fisher, 42, passed away June 22, 2011.
Scott was born October 13, 1968, in Des Moines. At an early age he was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and was active with JDRF. Scott graduated from Carlisle High School and was a National Merit Scholarship finalist. He went to St. Cloud University on his scholarship, and later attended Iowa State University.
He is survived by his father, Jim (JoNita) Fisher; mother, Judy Fisher; brother, Steve Fisher; and nephew, Nathan Fisher. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Iola Fisher and Jim and Dorothy Wilhite.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at West Des Moines Open Bible Church, 1100 Ashworth Road, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
