The Life of BARBARA JEAN STEVENS
Jean Stevens, 79, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Taylor House in Des Moines. Jean was born on September 22, 1929.
Jean enjoyed decorating cakes, flower arranging, crocheting, eating out and shopping. She was an Avon representative for 20 years and a member of Highland Park Christian Church.
Jean is survived by her son, Jeff (Mildred) Stevens of Des Moines, William (Annette) Stevens of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband William.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with family for one hour prior to services at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Jean.
