The Life of JANE E SMITH
Jane E. Smith, 83, died November 22, 2007 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
She was born August 12, 1924 in Detroit, MI to Walter and Stella Kwasniewski. Jane had lived in Des Moines most of her life following her marriage to Roy "Lefty" Smith who preceded her in death.
Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday November 29, 2007 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery where she will join her husband in burial.
Jane is survived by her sons, Jeff of Texas and Craig of Colorado. She also leave a sister, Irene Wygonik of Michigan. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Agnes Kolenda.
Memorial contributions may be given to Highland Park Presbyterian Church in loving memory of Jane.
