The Life of JACK FRANKLIN BEERS
Jack F. Beers, 74, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis from a stroke. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Jack was born December 12, 1933 to John and Juanita Beers in Des Moines. He served in the US Navy from 1955-1957 and retired as a truck driver for the City of Des Moines in 1989. Jack was a member of North Side Assembly of God Church in Illinois. Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley Beers; children, Tammy (Jeff) Mayer, Doyle Beers, Chris (Lisa) Beers, David (Linda) Wolfkill, and Debbie Fernandez; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and beloved friends. Memorial contributions may be given to the family in loving memory of Jack. Please note that a memorial service will take place at North Side Assembly of God in Godfrey, IL.
