The Life of DENNIS WILLIAM RAY POLEN
Dennis Polen, 65, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the VA Care Center in Des Moines. He was born January 3, 1945 in Des Moines to Marvin and Thelma (Hittle) Polen.
Dennis is survived by his children, Denise (Dave) Troncin, Pete (Brenda) Pirillo, Michelle (John) Polen Sharp; step-children, Charlie (Tonia) Neel and Kim Neel; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Betty Neel; his parents; and granddaughter, Katelyn Sharp.
Graveside services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
