The Life of CLIFFORD ALLEN WALKER
Clifford "Buck" Walker, 70, died October 18, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Care-University Chapel. Cremation will follow visitation and burial of his cremains will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Buck was a US Navy veteran and had worked at Taylor Industries until his retirement. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #33. He enjoyed watching sporting events and bird hunting.
He will be missed by his wife, Yan "Cindy" Walker; daughter, Cynthia (Steve) Austin of League City, TX, Kelly Walker of Des Moines and Tracie Walker of Eldon, IA; step-son, Zha Qun Kong of Urbandale; grandchildren, Jordan, Forrest, Masen and Avery Austin, Kyleigh and Delaney Kern; brothers, Dr. Richard Walker of Des Moines and William Walker of Ocala, FL. He was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Jessie Walker and his half sister, Betty Heyser.
