The Life of IMOGENE B ABEL
Graveside funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
"Gene' as she was known in Pella when she ran Gene's Beauty Nook was born in Linden, Iowa and lived in Des Moines for most of her life.
She and her late husband William co-owned Abels Dry Cleaning and Barber shop in North Des Moines. Imogene is survived by three sons, Fredrick of Runnells, John of Lakewood, CA., and Warren of St. Paul, MN.; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
