The Life of ANNA LEE ROHDE
Anna Lee Rohde, 72, was born August 29, 1937 in Adel, Iowa ,the daughter of Lester and Helen (Fenn) Orton. She passed away Friday, May 14, 2010, at IA Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Anna graduated from Adel High School and retired from Iowa Paint after almost 20 years of service.
Anna is survived by her children, Kelly (John) Bradford Sr., Steven (Sharon) Rohde and Sandy (Joe) Doerring; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Verla (Roger) Slycord and Mary Griffin both of Adel, IA; brother, Jerry (Jackie) Orton of Lorimor, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Claus Rohde and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
