The Life of PATRICIA HELEN CARLSON
Patricia Carlson, 83, died peacefully at her home October 10, 2009. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Patricia was born September 25, 1926, to Helen and Hubert Leighty. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching T.V. and scary movies, and playing cards. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Regie) Jergens; her brother, Paul (Mary) Leighty; her grandchildren: Trisha and Jack Barnhart, and Becky (Anthony) Bordenero; and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her son, Michael Caldwell; and her grandson, Michael Caldwell II.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Health Hospice in loving memory of Patricia.>>
