The Life of LEE ROY BECKETT
Services for Lee Roy Beckett, 82, of 1437 Lyon St, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Beckett died of a stroke Monday at his home following a lingering illness.
Mr. Beckett, born in Dubuque, had lived in Des Moines since 1929. He was a retired Internal Revenue Service clerk.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; three sons, Eldon, Kenneth and Harold, all of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Irma Hindman of Earlham and 10 grandchildren.
