The Life of RONALD L HOFFMAN

Services for Ronald L Hoffman, 35, who died Sunday at the Iowa Soldiers Home at Marshalltown of injuries suffered in an auto-train accident here Aug. 15, 1962, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Hoffman was seriously injured when the car he was driving was struck by a North Western freight train at E. Fourteenth street and Hobson drive. A lifelong Des Moines resident, he had been an inspector for the State Highway Commission before the accident. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of University Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Freida, now living at 1318 Second St in Ankeny; a son, Craig, and a daughter, Leeann, at home, and a brother, Roland of Des Moines.
