The Life of RUSSELL D HOUGE
Services for Russell D. Houge, 41, of 2920 E. Thirty-sixth St., will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Houge died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig''s disease) Tuesday at Des Moines General Hospital.
Mr. Houge was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. A warehousemen at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., he was a member of United Rubber Workers Local 310.
Survivors include his wife, Sondra; two sons, John of Des Moines and Jerry of Rapid City, SD; a daughter Michelle, at home; five brothers, Thomas, Glenn, Clifford and Fred, all of Des Moines, and Howard of Newton; four sisters, Beverly Ammons, Evelyn Pratt and Margaret Ezzio, all of Des Moines, and Connie Maness of South Haven, MS, and a granddaughter.
