The Life of WALTER L KEEHN
Walter L. Keehn, 54, of 1155 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Keehn was born in Minneapolis and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He retired earlier this year after 25 years with the U.S. Postal Service and was a veteran of the Navy Reserves.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Teresa Oliver, Deanna Keehn and Sandra Keehn, all of Des Moines; his mother, Eleanor Keehn of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, Tom of Garland, Texas; a sister, Sharon Hunt of Washington, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today and all day Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the John Stoddard Cancer Center at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
