The Life of LEROY C ELVERUM
Leroy C. Elverum, 58, of 3121 E. 13th St. died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church. of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Elverum was born in Cedar Falls and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired as a bus driver for the Metro Transit Authority and was a veteran of the Air Force.
Among survivors are his wife, Elaine; two sons, Mark of Altoona and Todd of Des Moines; a daughter, Vicki Elverum of Des Moines; a brother, Murray of Sparks, NV and four grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
