The Life of JOHN JAMES TORRES JR
John James Torres, Jr., 55, of 610 E Seneca Ave, died of a heart ailment Monday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Torres, born in Blue Earth, MN, had lived in Des Moines since 1966, and was a screen printer for ImageMaker.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; a daughter, Kim Freund of Chicago; four sons, David, James, Scott and Bill, all of Des Moines; a brother, Richard of Waseca, MN; a sister, Gloria Chantler of Des Moines; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
