The Life of GEORGE DOTTS

Services for George Dotts, 82, of 4617 Hubblell Avenue, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mitchellville Congregational Church in Mitchellville, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Dotts died of cancer Saturday at Clearview manor in Prairie City, where he had been about two weeks. An eddyville native, Mr. Dotts lived in Des Moines 23 years, and previously for seven years in Altoona. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Mitchellville Congregational Church. Mr. Dotts is survived by a son, Robert S. of Altoona,; a sister, Mrs. Maude Johnson of Clear Lake, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
