The Life of ARLO HENRY PASSICK

Arlo H. Passick, 83, of 6765 N.E. 17th St., died of complications of Alzheimer''s disease Wednesday at The Abbey.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Saylorville Baptist Church, of which he was a member.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Passick was born in Arcadia and lived in Ogden and Polk City before moving to Des Moines 50 years ago.  He retired from Polk County''s road maintenance department.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; four sons, Roger of Ripley, Okla., Ralph of Frederickstown, Ohio, Kerry of Bondurant and Dan of Des Moines; a daughter, Joyce McDaniel of Des Moines; two sisters, Phyllis Michael of Madrid and Orpha Van Alstine of Stuart; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
