The Life of VERA ADALINE BANNING
Adaline Banning of 860 NW 43rd Ave. died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospial. She was 64. Services will be at 2 pm today at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Banning, a homemaker, was born in Ottumwa and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and the Christian Women's Association.
Surviving are her husband, Arlan; a son, David, and a daughter, Sharman Bradshaw, both of Des Moines; her mother, Grace Maring, and a sister, Beulah Pearson both of Ottumwa; three brothers, Robert Barnhill of Des Moines and Gene Barnhill and David Barnhill, both of Ottumwa; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 8 am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
