The Life of MARY ELLEN EPPS
Mary Ellen Epps, 56, of 605 SE Ninth St. Ankeny, died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ankeny Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Epps was born in Des Moines and lived in Ankeny 27 years. She was a homemaker, and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Ankeny Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; her mother, Margaret Schmidt of Des Moines; and a brother, Harold Haines of Sunrise Beach, MO.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the American Cancer Society.
