The Life of REBECCA R WRIGHT
Rebecca R. Wright, 50, of the 1400 block of Merle Hay Road died of cancer Friday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Christian Church, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Wright was born in Cedar Rapids and had lived in Des Moines for 12 years. She was a management assistant for Prudential Insurance Co. and worked part time for Casual Corner. She loved spending time with her friends, writing poetry and reading.
There are no immediate survivors.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Highland Park Christian Church. Brooks Funeral Care is handling arrangements.
