The Life of ROBERT BRYANT HAYES Sr.
Robert Bryant Hayes, 60, of 480 NE Forty-sixth Place died of cancer Tuesday at Veteran''s Hospital following an eight-month illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hayes was born in Des Moines and lived in Fontanelle for several years before moving back to Des Moines 40 years ago. He was a retired employee of Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; three sons, David Allen, at home, and Robert B., Jr. and Gary Lee, both of Ankeny; five daughters, Mrs. Sharon Greene, Mrs. Barbara Dakovich, Mrs. Beverly Dakovich and Mrs. Theresa Haley, all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Cynthia McCary of Minneapolis, MN, and 19 grandchildren.
