The Life of LEATHA V COUCH
Mrs. Letha V. Couch, 56, of 2727 Thirty-eighth St. died Saturday at Iowa Methodist Hospital. She was ill three years with cancer and a heart ailment.
Mrs. Couch was born in Adelphi and lived in Des Moines 54 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph W; a son, Vern L Davitt, of Rockford, IL; two brothers, Emery Warren of Des Moines and Herman Warren of Runnells; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Heflen of Seattle, WA; Marilda Smith of Denver, CO; Ada Olson of Washington, DC; and Marydell Shaw of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
