The Life of RICK WARREN
Rick Warren, 49, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2004 at home from colon cancer. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Chruch in Des Moines.
Rick was a lifelong Des Moines area resident. He owned Home Improvement Unlimited, a residential remodeling company. Rick was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He loved spending time with his children.
Rick is survived by his wife, Cindy; his son, Austin and daughter, Stephane; all of Johnston; his parents, Jim and Betty Warren of Des Moines; two sisters, Christine Matthews of Des Moines and Terry Warren of West Des Moines; and six nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his children's college education fund.
