The Life of MILDRED JUNE BACON
Mildred June Bacon, 92, died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Fountain West. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mildred was born June 1, 1911 in Polk County. She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Bill) Davenport of Des Moines and Arlene (David) Isaac of Des Moines; five grandchildren, Bill Davenport, Tom Davenport, John Davenport, David Allen Grabel and Kathy June Grabel; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernie Bacon.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
