The Life of CAROL M WOODMAN

Carol M. Woodman, 79, of the 1000 block of Southeast Watrous Ave died of complications of an aneurysm Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Woodman was born in Winnebago County and had lived in Radcliffe before moving to Des Moines in 1948.  She was a schoolteacher and a public and private nurse before retiring.  She was a member of Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church.  She enjoyed feeding song birds and gardening.

She is survived by a son, Alan, of Des Moines; a daughter, Diane Fox of Linden, VA; and a grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James W.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
