The Life of HOMER B LOVE

Services for Homer B. Love, 84, of 2941 E. Walker St. who died Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hosptial of cancer and emphysema, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Simpson United Methodist Chruch. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A native of Altoona, Mr. Love was reared in the Carlisle area and farmed near Runnells before moving to Des Moines in 1965. He was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church, the Iowa Farm Bureau, and the Iwanna Go-Campers Club. Survivors include his wife, Eva Rose; a son, Clifford of Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Anna Myrtle Harvey of Des Moines; a brother, Arthur of Des Moines; two sisters, Mamie Warnock of Mitchellville and Nellie Brady of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Simpson United Methodist Church. Friends may call after noon today at the Grandview Funeral Home.
