The Life of CHARLES L ROBINSON
Charlie L. Robinson, 66, of Polk City died of a heart attack Thursday at Charter Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson, a lifelong Des Moines area resident, had been a bricklayer and worked for the state at Camp Dodge water plant. He was a member of American Legion and the National Rifle Association.
Among survivors are his wife, Beverly; a son, Robert, and a brother, Richard, both of Des Moines; and three sisters, Doris Howard of Des Moines and Shirley Slaybaugh and Patricia Edwards, both of Waukee.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
