The Life of CLARENCE E THOMPSON
Services for Clarence E. Thompson, 78, of 3315 E Third St., who died of cancer Sunday at Broadlawns Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tonini Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born in Flagler and lived in Des Moines for 55 years. He was a retired employee of Deere and Co. and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Evin E. of Des Moines and James W. of Marshall, MI; a daughter, Charlotte Cook of Boone; two brothers, Clifford of Des Moines and Harry of Mesa, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
