The Life of CORA D THOMPSON
Services for Mrs. Cora D. Thompson, 80, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Des Moines will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Monday in Mesa after a three-month illness. Born in Lovilia, she lived 40 years in Des Moines before going to Mesa nine years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Harry and Clarence of Mesa, and Clifford of Newton; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Saville and Mrs. Mary Caskey of Des Moines, Mrs. Tress Foster of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Elsie Heckerman of Phoenix; eight grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
