The Life of JOHN RICHARD TURNER
John R. (Dick) Turner, 58, of 1907 Lyon St. died Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Turner, a retired guard at John Deere Des Moines Works, was born in Atlanta, GA, and had lived in Des Moines 65 years.
He is survived by two sons, Richard A of Belmont, CA, and John R. Jr. of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Beggs and Mrs. Roberta Morton, both of Des Moines; a brother, Ralph G of Walker, MN; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Allen of Redondo Beach, CA; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
