The Life of EVERETT L CLEGHORN

Everett L. Cleghorn, 64, of 1258 E. 27th St., died of a heart ailment Friday at home.  Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Cleghorn, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a self-employed roofer, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Bethel Open Bible Chruch and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Patricia Kuffman of Des Moines; two sons, Darrell of Des Moines and Danny of California; six stepsons, Robert Jennings, Arthur Cockerham, Rory Cockerham and Terry Cockerham, all of Des Moines, Joe Jennings of Spirit Lake, and Bobby Vanzee of Knoxville, TN; four brothers, George and Donald, borh of Des Moines, Stan of Independence, MO, and Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; seven sisters, Beverly Rana, Annabel Brown, Phyllis See, Gloria Jackson and Nancy Martin, all of Des Moines, Jacqueline Mason of Indianola, and Lucille Sigler of Sulfur City, AK; 29 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to his
church.
