The Life of HELEN MAE LARSON
Helen Mae (Kail) Larson, 90, passed away peacefully November 8, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Helen was born on April 18, 1918, to Leo and Juanita (Cook) Kail in Des Moines. She graduated from East High School in 1936.
Helen was a very caring and loving person, she will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 69 years of marriage together, Henry B. Larson; daughters, Lynda Solberg and Debroah Rincon; son, James Larson; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Godfrey and Mary Lou Flanders and two brothers, Richard Kail and Robert William Kail.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Hill Lutheran Church''s building fund in loving memory of Helen.
