The Life of DONALD W PARDEE
Donald W. Pardee, 85, of the 2800 block of E.P. True Parkway, West Des Moines, died Tuesday of a heart ailment at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Pardee was born in Volga and had lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a retired purchasing agent with Iowa Power and Light and a member of Masons and Des Moines Lapidary Club. He enjoyed rock collecting and reading western novels.
He is survived by his wife, Charotte; a son, Larry of Des Moines; a daughter, Barbara Miller of West Des Moines; a sister, Mildred Fisher of Stawberry Point; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
