The Life of ROBERT W MARDIS
Robert W. Mardis, 57, of 3834 Bel Aire Road died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Central Congregation, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mardis lived in Des Moines all his life and was vice president of information services for Continental Western Insurance Co. He was a veteran of the Air Force.
Among survivors are his wife, Bev; a daughter, Becky Tuttle of Urbandale; three sons, Brent of Clive and Brad and Bill, both of Des Moines; his parents, Robert C. and Irene Mardis of Dallas, TX; and a sister, Shirley Newbrough of West Des Moines.
Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
