The Life of HAROLD D HOPKINS

Harold D Hopkins, 56, of 324 Thirty-fourth St., West Des Moines, died of a heart attack Sunday at Veterans Hospital after a brief illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Hopkins, born in Grand River, lived in Van Wert before moving to Des Moines 30 years ago. He was a graduate of Aircraft Mechanical School in Amarillo, TX, and operated Hopkins Trucking Co. He was a member of the Reorganized Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are his wife, Jennie; four daughters, Mrs. Linda Salomon and Vicki Hopkins, both of West Des Moines, Mrs. Jerry Curtis of Des Moines, and Carolyn Hopkins of Ames, and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
