The Life of EDWARD O EVANS
Services for Edward Francis Evans, 77, of 3318 Thompson Ave., who died of cancer Wednesday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Evans was a retired employee of Railway Express and K-Mart. He was a member of Calvary Open Bible Chruch and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma; three sons, Edward of Indianola, Robert of Leominster, Mass. and Richard of Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Joan Johnson of Kirkland, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call today after 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will greet visitors from 7 to 9 p.m.
